Latitude 21
surf and fish report
November 19
The fishing has been spotty, although a lot of sails and marlin have been brought in this past week.
Myself and my crew went out to the banks, about 45 miles SW of here.
The weather offshore was windy and with a north swell moving about 2 feet.
When we arrived out there along with 6 other yatchs fishing. It took no longer than 20 minutes and we were hooked up to blue marlin that was hell bent on going to Costa Rica. Finally after about an hour we pulled up to the boat and I have to say she
was a eye full. As wide as the boat and a girth barely put your arms around. We guessed the weight at about 300 plus lbs.
So, there are fish, plus we saw a number of pods of sailfish near shore around Sayulita about 3 miles out. We also found a floating tree with dorado all around it. Alas, they were not hungry.
Surf is pretty small little north...may later this week
latitude 21 is open for business come by
