Surf and Fish report,
First Week in October
Welcome everyone to the the area,
We are nearing the beginning of the season! Lots of surf and fishing and adventure
Soon within a week or so its going to be a face lift on the area.
Painting and Palapas being straighten up and scrubbing all the muck off all around.
This summer has been dreadful with all the rain and flooding.
Still, life goes on and some good comes out of the misery especially when it comes to Nature. Although we are not completely out of the woods sort to speak with the rains.
We are collectively breathing a sigh of relief.
The fishing has been fair, lots of our early arrival fishermen have been showing up at the ramp and producing some fair catches of dorado.
The local commerical fishermen are starting to sharpen thier axes out in front of our place,
located on the beach at the south end. Lots of long lines being constructed (bummer) jerks...
I have to say i know just about most all of them and respect their ability to harvest the ocean.
I hate the lack of respect for the natural resource. Hopefully, for all of us it will dawn on them before it's way to late.
On another note, the surf is small and some swell on the horizon for next week.
Until then good folks the rivers are full and cool to the touch. Excellent for adventure.
If you just arrived make it a point to go to our many rivers.
I predict for the next 2 months the surf is going to be fine at the rivers, stay safe and see you soon!
