Annual Sunset Fiesta at Casa Libertad
Per popular request, I have snapped a number of photos at the annual Sunset Fiesta at Casa Libertad, which is sponsered by Tom and Bruce. I was not able to identify all due to my poor memory. Also, ten lashes to the photographer with a wet noodle

The Bartenders
Nancy, who is a nurse at a local clinic and Arial, one of Vicky's sons, serve out margaritas, Piña Colodas and about anything else you would want. Folks started arriving a little before 7 p.m. The sunset was beautiful.

Mother and Son

A happy couple
Harry and Genie Burnett lived across the street from me in Sacramento, Calif. and were my neighbors in San Carlos, Sonora, Mex. and are my neighbors again. Harry is Vice Pres. of the Association of Residents and is most responsible for our tidy community in Rincón de Guaybitos.

Freda Tolliver and Rosalie Hope
Both long time residents. Freda and Mickey have a home in San Carlos, Sonora, my home in México for years and Rosalie has a beautiful bed and breakfast in La Peñita.

A table of snacks
Smoked salmon was one of the delicious botanas.

Sunset on Jaltemba Bay
What a way to end the day.

Vicky and Bob
These are two colorfull characters that may be seen from time to time around the bay. Bob`s sole claim to fame in life are his coffee, margaritas and tall tales that may be seen now and then on Jaltemba Bay Folk. Vicky is a nurse at a local hospital and is an angel of mercy for the sick and poor although a wild side can be seen on occasion.

Alicia Monroy, Presidente Municipal
Alicia Monroy is the president of our municipality, the equivelent of a county commissioner. She is talking to Lupita Cuevas and other unidentified guests. She, her husband and daughter were gracious enough to attend our sunset party.

Tom Plattenger and a couple of girls he picked up at the party
Tom is the creater of Jaltemba Bay Folk and co owner, along with Bruce Hilton, of Casa Libertad

Bob, Vicky and Tom
I don't really see much difference in size, do you?
